Members of OKC Thunder visit victims of Oklahoma State parade tragedy

Members of the Oklahoma City Thunder made a trip to Stillwater on Monday to visit victims of the Oklahoma State homecoming parade tragedy that occurred last Saturday.

Adacia Chambers, who was allegedly driving under the influence, came speeding through the parade, smashed into a police motorcycle and a crowd of people. The incident left four dead, including a 2-year-old boy, and 47 others injured. Eleven of the injured were 13 years old or younger.

As of Monday night, 17 people remained in the hospital and four in critical condition.

Chambers faces four counts of second-degree murder. She made her first court appearance Monday and her bail was set for $1 million.

At the time of the incident several members of the Oklahoma Thunder sent out tweets offering their prayers and well wishes, but this gesture went above and beyond and brightened the spirits of several people who needed it the most.
